Saturday | Arrival and Welcome
Let's meet at the Capitole Square in Toulouse at 10am
Then we will have a short historical tour of the city
Afterward, it's off to the Château we go!

Sunday | Getting to know the Château and her Surroundings
Petit-déjeuner at your leisure
Stroll to the Sunday morning markets in the nearby village of Les Cabannes to collect some more ingredients for later in the day
Morning tea in the village to celebrate Bastille Day
Followed by lunch at the Château
Cooking classes commence in the afternoon with classical French dishes, particularly those that are regional to the Ariège
Bastille Day inspired dinner paired with local wines to be held on the Château's front terrace
Monday | All Things French!

Depart at 9am to visit the markets and antique stores in the Medieval village of Mirepoix
Lunch at Relais de Mirepoix
An afternoon lesson in creating French desserts
High tea in Le Salon de Printemps
Dinner together
Tuesday | A Day of Leisure and Activities
Petit-déjeuner at your leisure
Relax in the morning - with a book, by the pool... Or, you may like to pick some wildflowers from the prairie or play some tennis on the Château court
Let's go down in the woods today picnic lunch in the Château parc
Then, enjoy an afternoon of activities! Horse-riding around the Château and local villages, canoeing or kayaking down the Ariège river, or an a guided hike to the crystal clear lakes hidden deep in the mountains just above the Château... It is as you wish...

Visit to and enjoy dinner at another local Château
Wednesday | Caves and Cooking
Petit-déjeuner at your leisure
Morning lesson in French pastry-making
Guided visit to the prehistoric cave of Niaux - the local area is known world-wide for its Mesolithic rock-art
Picnic in the mountains
Afternoon lesson in traditional French cuisine
Followed by a candlelit dinner
Your bedroom will be furnished with finds from local brocantes and decorated with freshly picked flowers from the Château gardens...

Cost - €2,950 per person
This includes:
daily breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by international and local chefs at the Château and all dining throughout the region,
unlimited beverages - house wine, house spirits (the drinking kind!), house beer and other various non-alcoholic drinks,
dual occupancy accommodation and shared bathroom facilities,
all organised activities,
use of the Château's facilities including tennis court, pool, bicycles and wifi in selected areas,
complimentary laundry facilities for your own use,
transfers to and from Toulouse.
Excludes your flights to and from Toulouse, personal spending money and personal insurance.
