Life at the Château
The Château changes character with the calendar — wildflowers and long light in summer, gold and mist in autumn, snow settling on the gates by midwinter. This is the rhythm of a year spent here: garden flowers cut for the table, the grounds turning through every season, and the small, resident household that has quietly made the Château home.
Fresh flowers from the Château's own gardens find their way into every room and onto every table — arranged simply, in season, and changed as often as the garden allows.
Autumn brings gold light and mist to the valley; by midwinter, the Château and her gates often stand under snow. Guests who return in different seasons frequently say it barely feels like the same house — and in some ways, it isn't.
The Château keeps its own small household of animals, who tend to make an appearance in the background of daily life — running through the snow, or curled up wherever the kitchen happens to be warm.
